You've heard me rant against AI, and I must be specific that AI has its uses. It has helped advance medicine, detecting cancer and allowing people to twiddle with molecules in simulations. And it's helped accelerate programming to the point where it's advanced Beloved almost out of a job.

To be clear, the world still needs experts in actual programming to make sure the AI doesn't fuck up.

Where am I going with this? Well. I'm working with a program my Beloved recommended - Cursor - and Adorable, who has experience with it, to create Pseuducku. And to even out the workload I gave myself, I'm journalling the experience. From setup to completion.

9 AM - Getting my blog nonsense done, working on my offerings, and recording the tale for release today. Which took seven takes and includes cat and phone noises. Fuckit. That's how you tell I'm not a robot voice.

10:30 AM - Adorable thought I was doing it all by myself, somehow. I also need account info from Beloved. Asked Beloved for the information. Returning to making my normal offerings.

1 PM - Minecraft break.

2:30 PM - Editing the subtitles for PeerTube.

3:11 PM - Rendering the PeerTube video. Editing the YouTube video.

3:23 PM - Realise that I made a critical boo-boo on the PeerTube video. Re-editing.

4:16 PM - Posting and publicity for the videos

5 PM - Minecraft again.

8:30 PM - Action begins with an account invitation. I ask for clarity on how to log in.

8:44 PM - I'm in. Now what?

8:50 PM - Setting up. Significant lag between my asking a question and getting an answer.

9:27 PM - Got a question instead. This is going fantastic (sarcasm). Answered question within a minute because I was getting dinner.

9:45 PM - Finally underway and making a plan.

10:30 PM - Made a bare start, and now I need to sleep.

If I had access earlier today, I feel like I could have gone further. But... embuggerances are embuggerances and I shall be noodling more with a clearer head. Tomorrow.
